L~p CONTINUITY OF HRMANDER SYMBOL OPERATORS OpS_（0,0） ~m AND NUMERICAL ALGORITHM

If we use Littlewood-Paley decomposition, there is no pseudo-orthogonality for Ho¨rmander symbol operators OpS m 0 , 0 , which is different to the case S m ρ,δ (0 ≤δ < ρ≤ 1). In this paper, we use a special numerical algorithm based on wavelets to study the L p continuity of non infinite smooth operators OpS m 0 , 0 ; in fact, we apply first special wavelets to symbol to get special basic operators, then we regroup all the special basic operators at given scale and prove that such scale operator’s continuity decreases very fast, we sum such scale operators and a symbol operator can be approached by very good compact operators. By correlation of basic operators, we get very exact pseudo-orthogonality and also L 2 → L 2 continuity for scale operators. By considering the influence region of scale operator, we get H 1 (= F 0 , 2 1 ) → L 1 continuity and L ∞→ BMO continuity. By interpolation theorem, we get also L p (= F 0 , 2 p ) → L p continuity for 1 < p < ∞ . Our results are sharp for F 0 , 2 p → L p continuity when 1 ≤ p ≤ 2, that is to say, we find out the exact order of derivations for which the symbols can ensure the resulting operators to be bounded on these spaces.     

EXISTENCE OF WEAK SOLUTIONS TO A DEGENERATE STEAD-STATE SEMICONDUCTOR EQUATIONS

In this paper, we consider a degenerate steady-state drift-diffusion model for semiconductors. The pressure function used in this paper is ()(s) = s~α(α > 1). We present existence results for general nonlinear diffhsivities for the degenerate Dirichlet-Neumann mixed boundary value problem.     

利用提升小波的蛋白质相互作用特征提取

利用提升小波从蛋白质序列中提取出它们相互作用的频谱特征,经支持向量机训练学习后,用于预测蛋白质间的相互作用.模拟计算结果表明,在阳性数据和阴性数据平衡的前提下,利用提升小波获取的低维蛋白质相互作用特征向量可以得到较高预测精度.进一步阐述了不同物种的蛋白质相互作用网络有着不同特征,为了得到更准确的预测结果,需要利用不同的方法提取蛋白质相互作用的特征.     

A large deviation for occupation time of critical branching α-stable process

In this paper we establish a large deviation principle for the occupation times of critical branching α-stable processes for large dimensions d > 2α, by investigating two related nonlinear differential equations. Our result is an extension of Cox and Griffeath’s (in 1985) for branching Brownian motion for d > 4.     

Homoclinic solutions in periodic difference equations with saturable nonlinearity

In this paper, a periodic difference equation with saturable nonlinearity is considered. Using the linking theorem in combination with periodic approximations, we establish sufficient conditions on the nonexistence and on the existence of homoclinic solutions. Our results not only solve an open problem proposed by Pankov, but also greatly improve some existing ones even for some special cases.     

Constructions of optimal difference systems of sets

Difference systems of sets (DSSs) are combinatorial configurations which were introduced in 1971 by Levenstein for the construction of codes for synchronization. In this paper, we present two kinds of constructions of difference systems of sets by using disjoint difference families and a special type of difference sets, respectively. As a consequence, new infinite classes of optimal DSSs are obtained.     

Global existence of solutions of the critical semilinear wave equations with variable coefficients outside obstacles

In this paper, we consider the exterior problem of the critical semilinear wave equation in three space dimensions with variable coefficients and prove the global existence of smooth solutions. As in the constant coefficients case, we show that the energy cannot concentrate at any point (t, x) ∈ (0, ∞) ×Ω. For that purpose, following Ibrahim and Majdoub's paper in 2003, we use a geometric multiplier similar to the well-known Morawetz multiplier used in the constant coefficients case. Approximation for counts of head runs

In this paper, we study the count of head runs up to a fixed time in a two-state stationary Markov chain. We prove that in total variance distance, the negative binomial, Poisson and binomial distributions are appropriate approximations according to the relation of the variance and mean of the count, generalizing earlier results in previous literatures. The proof is based on Stein’s method and coupling.     

On anti-pluricanonical systems of Q-Fano 3-folds

We investigate birationality of the anti-pluricanonical map Φ-m,the rational map defined by the anti-pluricanonical system |-mKX|,on weak Q-Fano 3-folds.     

Markov branching processes with immigration-migration and resurrection

We consider a modified Markov branching process incorporating with both state-independent immigration-migration and resurrection. The effect of state-independent immigration-migration is firstly in- vestigated in detail. The explicit expressions for the extinction probabilities and mean extinction times are presented.
